We are studying whether a new daily pill can help prevent worsening kidney disease and heart problems in people with chronic kidney disease. Participants will compare this treatment to a placebo to see its effects.

- Are you 18 years old or older?
- Do you have chronic kidney disease (CKD) with an eGFR between 20 and 45 mL/min/1.73m²?
- Do you have chronic kidney disease (CKD) with an eGFR between 45 and 90 mL/min/1.73m² and a urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (uACR) of 200 mg/g or higher?
- Is your blood potassium level higher than 5.2 mmol/L?
- Do you have known liver cirrhosis?
